I still have my "old" Slayer SXC30 that I ride in the french and spanish Pyrenees mountains and it just works damn perfect, especially with a 170mm RS Lyrik RC2DH.
My frame is 100% alloy, made in Canada (2008 version)...
Me like lots of my fellow-riders will never buy a carbon frame for the reasons we know.
I'm actually very disappointed that you didn't think about that. @fercho25: they had a fairly progressive geometry with a slack HA that gave you good confidence pointed downhill. While i love the idea of the Slayer, my trails near home are much more Altitide friendly...
and it's still alive, without the least play or crack!!!
So: when will you be smart enough to release an aluminium version of your new Slayer????
Cleanly sawn, branchless, palm-like trunks, they come to rest in the dust only to be followed by a second cascade of lumber. the felled tree trunks lie in a huge, log-jam in the desert. DISSOLVE TO A BARREN, EMPTY LANDSCAPE Joining the rest of the debris is a deluge of slate - sheets of shale from a great unseen quarry in the sky come slamming to earth. Securing the thick, fireproof windowed door behind himself, he turns a switch to release gas into the vacated chamber. (referring to the torn photo of 20-year-old Vincent on the wall) I don't recognize you. You run, you may as well sign a confession, turn us both in right now. (angry now) Jesus, if I'd known you were going to go belly up on me at the last fucking gasp, I wouldn't have bothered. You want me to wheel in there and finish the job myself? The Investigator appears irritated, only half-glancing at the TWO MEN already in custody, apparently certain that neither one is his suspect. The pianist tosses one of his white gloves into the front row where it is caught by an adoring FAN. Jerome is stunned to realize that it is a six-fingered glove. On stage, the pianist raises his hands to acknowledge the crowd. Hardly even glancing at the traffic, he suddenly bolts blindly across the road. JEROME (smiling back) I wouldn't get your hopes up, Commander. If he does not work here, then there should be no other trace of him. JEROME readies himself for an evening out - a bandage around his arm from the needle puncture. Trey’s images are other-worldly, mind-blowing creations that, at first glance, appear to be some digital trompe l’oeil; a Photoshop trickery post production creation. But no, Ratcliff’s photographs — through techniques he freely shares — are inspiring and real.Remember, in saying All This Stuff about myself, I am actually egoless, which I think is the greatest creative gift any artist can give to one’s self.It wasn’t the easiest path, but books like this helped.
